Libre, A Silver Ships Novel has been published ahead of schedule.

With the streamlining of final manuscript preparations and e-book file conversion, Libre, the second book in the series, was able to be released three weeks early on Amazon on July 6th.

Fans who have pre-ordered the book will be receiving their Kindle copy early, and the softcover print version is also ready for ordering. Happy Libre Independence Day!.

Podium Publishing has set a target date of June 30, 2015 for sale of a CD audiobook of The Silver Ships realeased through Audible.com.

Podium Publishing will be creating audiobooks of the first three novels in the Silver Ships series. These audiobooks will be published on Audible, Amazon, and iTunes. Podium has a history of publishing some of the finest narrated science-fiction novels, including Andy Weir's The Martian.

Within three years of their launch, Podium has acheived several phenomenal milestones: published over 125 audiobooks, received 6 Audie Award nominations, and received 7 Voice Arts Awards nominations.

All audiobooks will be produced in two formats, MP3 and CD. The MP3 version of The Silver Ships will be online before May's end.

The Silver Ships was published on February 7, 2015, and the purchases and downloads of the Kindle version of the novel sent the book to #1 on Amazon's science fiction, first contact category by March 1, 2015. Throughout March, the book retained #2 positions in three categories of science fiction: first contact, alien invasion, and space opera.

The package included an e-book cover, softbook cover, Web banner, 3D book image, and a poster. A nice extra, for a small price, were the Photoshop files, enabling me to edit my back cover description, if I wanted to make changes.

The Silver Ships was scheduled for final copy review with Angela Polidoro, my independent editor, the week of Nov. 3rd.

I'm very happy to say that I made my deadline, which keeps the book on track for the intended publishing date of January-February 2015.
